How to Wrap a Laena / Arisaid

Start with laying out the rope belt Then place the plaid wool over the belt, with the outside down.

You can fold or pleat the laena / arisaid if you want, or just arrange it. Lie down on top of the plaid wool, with the belt at your center.

Grab the ends of the rope and tie the belt on. The laena / arisaid can be worn with both sections hanging down, and then one section can be pulled over the head for warmth or to stay dry.
